At Northminster we seek to serve Christ by serving the least of our brothers and sisters in our local community and beyond. We participate in our PC(USA) denominational giving drives such as One Great Hour of Sharing, as well as contributing to urgent funds needed in the moment through giving to the Presbyterian Disaster Relief Fund. During the Advent season we sponsor a local family in our area to provide them with resources and a gift to open; while during August we support young persons in need by providing backpacks to local students for back to school. Heifer International is a global ministry that we participate in every year.
Northminster's most thriving ministry is our ongoing food drive and collection for ERA (Emergency Relief Association). On the first Sunday of each month the Northminster congregation gathers donations made throughout the month and transports them over to the ERA Food Pantry. In the last quarter we delivered over 600 lbs. of food to feed our neighbors. Our ERA food drive is a ministry of our Board of Deacons but it is one where all participate and volunteer.
Please consider donating to the ERA Food Pantry at:
1700 Woodbourne Road, Levittown, PA 19057
Donations at the ERA Food Pantry can be received on Monday and Tuesday's from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
Hours of Operation are:
Friday 10:00am - 1:00pm
Through our outreach and mission, Northminster Presbyterian Church professes that the Church is a community of love and that the Church is a community of witness, pointing beyond itself through word and work to the good news of God's transforming grace in Christ Jesus.
